First long distance walk, loved every minute. In the company of my gorgeous wife, included our 20th Wedding Anniversary, and my wife's 60th. Fantastic adventure and lifelong memories

This was our first walking holiday and it was the most amazing experience. Walking for 8 days in spectacular countryside, beautiful weather and enjoying wonderful company with my much loved husband, Graham! It was a week to remember, new experiences, meeting new people and enjoying fresh air, exercise and relaxation! Would definitely recommend!

I walked the Cotswold Way in 8 days from Chipping Camden to Bath - and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I met wonderful and kind-hearted people, I've seen beautiful landscape (very Hobbiton-like) and I learnt that I am able to push my boundaries a litte bit (if I want to). It was my first long-distance hike and now I am hooked! If you want to read more (I'm afraid it's only availabe in German) then visit my blog: https://walkingthecotswoldway.wordpress.com/

My father has completed Cotswold Way (twice- most recently at age 84!) What a wonderful time we had, and we can't wait to come back and do another trail!

Walked over 7 days, north to south. Booked through Macs Adventures, our fourth trip with them and again well organised. Some long hard days, weather sunny, rainy, misty, cloudy. But amazing all in all

Three ladies aged between 53 and 70 had a fantastic time on the Cotswold Way. We had sun and rain and spent a great deal of time changing from sunhats and glasses to wet weather gear. The walk was a little more challenging than expected but thoroughly worth it and we enjoyed every minute. Thank you for maintaining this walk so well.

Walked with my sister and friend an average of 10 miles per day over 10 days, staying in B&Bs and inns. Ideal walking weather, good gear and good company made it a holiday to remember. Chatted to lots of different people along the way and took hundreds of photographs. Well worth doing and already thinking about which walk to do next. The Cotswold Way will take some beating!!

I completed the Way in 4 days over 2 weekends, wild camping - not a relaxing pace, but great training for a 2 month trek in the Pyrenees. What a lovely walk - I would do it again, though at a relaxed pace and with a friend.

We started the walk on the 10th May 2014 and completed it in stages finishing on the 25th June 2016.

We are Jane & Colin Dittmer and Anne & Robin Cheyne and the walk has been a great opportunity as old friends to enjoy a few weekends away together. The walk was brilliant, the Cotswolds beauitiful and we enjoyed some excellent hospitality at B&Bs and restaurants along the way.

It took a while but that made the final achievement even more satisfying.

Thanks to the Cotswold Way team for looking after the walk so well.

It has been a great walk

What a wonderful trail!

We started it in Bath on 7th June & finished at Chipping Campden 16th June 2016 with 1 rest day. Most walkers seemed to be doing it north to south but I am glad we did it south to north as all the delightfully pretty Cotswold villages are all at the end.

The wild flowers were stunning, including the wild orchids.

If anyone likes Italian food we would recommend The Fox Inn, Hawkesbury Upton for delicious authentic food from different regions of Italy. It did mean walking 17 miles that day but it was worth it!

Thank you, Cotswold conservation Board, for maintaining such a beautiful national trail.

This hike had an especial appeal for us. Susan's mother, Sabina Orlinski, was a nurse with the US Army's 45th Evacuation Hospital and was billeted with a "maiden lady" in Wotton-under-Edge for 9 months before D-Day. We visited the local Historical Society and met David Baird who provided information on the "American occupation" of Wotton-under-Edge.

A great walk with nice people met along the way.The trail is very undulating so no more than fifteen miles in a single day should be undertaken as you will not fully enjoy the non stop views along the trail. I walked north to south and found that I would walk the trail again but in the opposite direction next time to see the views I missed that were behind me. All in all its easy to see why the Cotswold way is so popular with so much to see and many great people to talk too. This is one of my favourite National trails to date and I am sure it will have the same effect on you too.

An annual spring walk for the three Aimless Wanderers - all 70+ - brought us to the Cotswolds this year (previous years: Pembrokeshire Coast, West Highland Way). May seems to smile on us because we had warm, sunny weather as far as Tormarton. A magical walk, especially the first half. Cleve Hill stays vividly in the memory.
