This was our first long distance walk and we both thoroughly enjoyed walking The Cotswold Way. The weather was very good and the Cotswolds are beautiful. We would recommend this walk to everyone.

We walked the Cotswold Way in 10 days, averaging 10 miles a day. Daughter Molly (aged 9 at the start & 10 at the end) & son Woden (aged 8) were amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk. We had 3 rest days in total. The weather was fantastic, only a tiny bit of drizzle on day 8, trainers were fine because the ground was so dry. Our highlights were the lovely views, gorgeous Cotswold buildings and walls, yummy treats in local supermarkets, great wildlife (a young deer, 3 squirrels, a rat eating an apple, beautiful butterflies), eating blackberries along the way, spotting planes heading to Bristol airport, finding a wild walnut. We were actually a bit sad to finish the walk because it had been so brilliant. We stayed with family near Wotton every night & they walked with us around Stinchcombe hill & golf course which was wonderful. Totally recommend the walk with children.

We have had a great experience walking the Cotswold Way over the past year. We have walked it as 3 families with a variety of health conditions making it a bit of a challenge but we have kept each other going and the odd extra straggler joined us at points. We have had good weather every time we have walked and we have found some amazing places near our homes that we didn't even know existed. Our walks around the 6 miles in length with the longest we did being 7.5 miles and the shortest being 5 miles but it suited our abilit. Walking together has brought us all closer together and we are looking forward to our next walking challenge. We have also found some amazing eateries along the route.

We walked the Cotsvold Way from north to south in seven stages. Beautiful weather with just three hours of rain throughout our walk. We met a lot of friendly people and we saw many beautiful views and picturesque villages. We appreciated the quietness of the countryside and the arrival in Bath was great. We were happy to have reached our final destination with plenty of nice memories.

Beautiful part of England. Lots of hills, long days walking with a backpack in the sunshine and feeling pretty weary when our accommodation was finally reached each evening. Lots of highlights and a great sense of achievement when we reached Bath.

I completed the Cotswold Way 102 miles walking through the night for the charity Village Africa dressed as a surgeon, to help support the ambulance service to continue running and send a child to school in a remote village in Tanzania, so far I have raised over £1,500. It was an amazing beautiful challenge, I will walk one day again!

My sister and I did this walk and it was positively phenomenal! We walked from Chipping Campden to Bath over 7 days, every B&B was lovely and the views were simply stunning. It truly is an experience that all can enjoy, even those who don't consider themselves fit. I'm a marathon runner and though my sister doesn't exercise regularly, we both enjoyed the walk and the sights along the way. It was a life-enriching journey for both of us, and brought two sisters who live a world away from each other together for an epic adventure. I whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone who is keen to see the English countryside or challenge their boundaries.

We had an amazing family experience on this walk - it has made us so eager to tackle even more trails. We went from Chipping Campden to Bath, and our son planned the lengths of the legs and the stops along the walk to also satisfy his Scout hiking merit badge requirements. That meant 20 miles on the last day into Bath, but that didn't feel so bad at that point. The weather during the walk changed from a scorcher of a summer to fierce wind and rain to perfect, beautiful conditions for the latter half. Even in the tougher weather, though, the countryside was gorgeous, and we also met so many other nice folks along the way. Thanks so much to the wardens who help maintain this wonderful walk.
