Warden Guided Walks

Our Cotswold Voluntary Wardens offer guided walks across the Cotswolds National Landscape and look forward to meeting you. These walks offer an interesting and often entertaining way of exploring our wonderful Cotswold countryside and landscape.

    • Most walks do not require booking, just turn up on the day at the advertised meeting location.
If booking is required, even for some free walks, you will be asked to fill out a short form on the walk page.
    • Dogs are unfortunately not able to be accommodated on our guided walks (except assistance dogs).
There are though a number of walking with dog groups around the Cotswolds you can meet up with.
    • In addition to the walks below we also provide multistage monthly warden led guided walks for some of the longer trails including Cotswold Way and Diamond Way, more information can be found here.
    • Safety is important so please take a moment to read our Safety Guidance here.
    • Please always be tick aware whilst walking in the Cotswolds. Consider your clothing and checking for ticks after your walk. For more information go to Tick-awareness-A5-leaflet-April-2023

All walks by the Voluntary Wardens are FREE OF CHARGE however donations are welcome and help us to take care of the countryside. You can donate online here.
