Education and Resources

People feel better when they spend time outside and in nature.

We want to encourage people to establish their connection to nature from a young age, and maintain it through life. Studies show that time spent outside and in nature helps people feel better physically and emotionally. It’s also been shown that when people feel they have purpose, their feelings of wellbeing are increased.

Modern life can all too easily draw us away from the natural world though – so we must try to make time to welcome it back into our daily lives.

Our free-to-download education resources have been designed for teachers and parents to help engage children and young people with outdoor learning.

Our Everyone’s Evenlode project aims to engage young people and communities with the River Evenlode and its catchment area.

Meanwhile our outdoor learning work is aimed at children aged 10 and upwards, and young people – with the aim of helping to develop their confidence and self-belief.
