Outdoor learning along the Cotswold Way
This resource has been designed for Lower KS2 Science – ‘Plants, living things and their habitats’. It is also a great resource for home educators and other groups who work with children aged 7-9 years.
These three lesson plans have been designed to enable you as educators to teach your pupils the requirements from the Science National Curriculum for Lower Key Stage Two.

The guide is a wonderfully detailed illustrated guide to wildlife along the river Evenlode: birds, mammals, insects, and amphibians – the guide highlights what you might be likely to find on the banks of the river, in the water, and in the surrounding riverbank habitats. A great way to get youngsters wildlife spotting!
