Cromwell’s Bath
Starting along the MacMillan Way we head towards Chavenage House before descending along Chavenage Lane to head in to Tetbury. From there we return to the start along Blind Lane and Ridge’s Lane.
The walk is a mixture of good tracks and field paths passing by the beautiful Chavenage House to reach the historic town of Tetbury. Depending on time and numbers it might be possible to stop for refreshments at the Chavenage cafe or in Tetbury. Please bring refreshments and a packed lunch. Some paths might be muddy in the event of rain. Image of Chavenage House courtesy of John Hammill
This walk is organised by Cotswold Voluntary Wardens, the voluntary arm of the Cotswolds Conservation Board. These walks offer an interesting and often entertaining way of exploring our wonderful Cotswold countryside and landscape. All walks by the Voluntary Wardens are FREE OF CHARGE however donations are welcome and help us to take care of the countryside.
PLEASE: always remember to wear appropriate footwear because some walks may be steep and muddy in places. Dogs are not allowed on walks, except guide dogs and hearing dogs. It is advisable to check the website or call the Cotswolds Conservation Board (07841 663607) beforehand for details of any changes, particularly during bad weather.
