A short stroll from Brimpsfield to Caudle Green
A short walk along two delightful valleys from Brimpsfield to Caudle Green and back.
This is a really peaceful walk following a stream along the valley, where nothing can be heard but the tumbling of the water and the song of birds. After a short stroll down a lane we return up the opposite valley through meadows and fields. Because of the nature of the terrain, if there is serious rain before the walk, we may walk along the lanes to Caudle Green and back, which is a similar distance.
This walk is organised by Cotswold Voluntary Wardens, the voluntary arm of the Cotswolds Conservation Board. These walks offer an interesting and often entertaining way of exploring our wonderful Cotswold countryside and landscape. All walks by the Voluntary Wardens are FREE OF CHARGE however donations are welcome and help us to take care of the countryside.
PLEASE: always remember to wear appropriate footwear because some walks may be steep and muddy in places. Dogs are not allowed on walks, except guide dogs and hearing dogs. It is advisable to check the website or call the Cotswolds Conservation Board (07841 663607) beforehand for details of any changes, particularly during bad weather.
