3.5 days to walk 102 miles through beautiful countryside was harder than we could have imagined. We walked and raised money for Dorothy House Hospice Care, which is a worthy charity that had supported close family in recent times. The weather was perfect; not too hot, not too cold and only the slightest amount of rain on Day 1. Despite managing to get lost a couple of times, The Cotswold Way is very well signed. There are lots of pretty steep ups and downs, which would be challenging enough at the best of times, but when you’re walking over 30 miles a day, it really is tough! The scenery is breathtaking and I would definitely recommend taking on the challenge, but maybe in more than 3.5 days if you want to avoid blisters!!
