Overall – remarkable! We are in our late 60s and this is something I had wanted to do for several years. The walk was more challenging than we expected but each day was wonderful in its own way: the views, birds (SO loud!), forests (trees I’d never seen, such a beech), the lovely people we met, and the quiet we experienced together for hours every day. Just walking, step by step, through the woods, up and over the hills. Seeing homes and villages so unlike anything in the US.
Although it’s not the most scenic, I’m sending this picture because there was only one day where we dealt with a trail like this!
