We did Hadrian’s Wall last year and thought the Cotswold Way would be a piece of cake in comparison, boy were we wrong. A good deal of the walk included lots of ups and downs following the escarpments, quite challenging at times. It didn’t help that we got one of our distances totally wrong and ended up walking over 20 miles instead of 15. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk despite the heavy rain that we encountered on two or three days.
