I and a friend ( Nigel Cockburn) , both in our 70 ‘s, walked the Cotswold Way from north to south with the help of Cotswold Walks Co. We began in Chipping Campden, then followed the Way , stopping overnight near Wood Stanway, then Winchcombe, Charlton Kings,
Cheltenham, Birdlip, Painswick, Kings Stanley/ Leonard Stanley, Wotton-under-Edge,
Old Sodbury, Pennsylvania, and ending in Bath. A very enjoyable and for us, long walk of over 100 miles , completed in ten days( which helped break up the walk for us into manageable distances each day) . It rained on our first day and the Way seemed
excessively muddy for the first two days ( perhaps the track needs some maintenance
at the northern end?). After that the weather was cold , windy and dry, with some
very enjoyable walking, and our final two days were rather warm.
Sorry, unable to add photo of our walk from my iPad, is it possible to send by eg.
