I completed the Cotswold Way by joining the monthly lead walks by the Avon Valley District Cotswold Voluntary Wardens. Our merry band was 25 strong with a wide range of experiences but all loved the great outdoors. This was a most enjoyable experience letting the Wardens take the ‘pain’ out of organising transport to the start and collection from the finish of each section. The 2018 summer was one of the hottest on record which made the first 5 sections that little bit more challenging however, the views were stunning. Good company, great views, lots of stories and laughs and plenty to remember.
