Stanton to Stanway via the Cotswold Edge

From Stanton we have a 600ft (200m) steep climb up to the Cotswold Edge, then continue, with views across the vale to the west. We descend down to Stanway and have a gentle stroll across fields back to the start.

Woodland Owls

We descend through woodland to secluded Owlpen church and Manor. On to Uley and a steep ascent to follow the path around Uley Bury. We join the Cotswold Way, climbing to Coaley Peak viewpoint followed by a short walk back to Nympsfield. Please bring a packed lunch.
