Route description

This walk is a lovely mix of field, woodland and riverside paths, with lovely views across the Cotswold countryside.

Starting in the village of Naunton we follow the Wardens’ Way up through field paths, with good views over the Windrush valley, as we gain height. We follow the river Eye towards Upper Slaughter and a ford. We continue to Lower Slaughter and then use the MacMillan Way across fields to join the Windrush Way and follow the river valley back to Naunton.

Please bring suitable clothing and footwear for country walking.
