The second of five circular walks during the year exploring the Wardens’ and Windrush Ways. Each is a complete walk, so no need to commit to them all.
The Ways run between Winchcombe and Bourton on the Water.

Route description

This walk starts from the Methodist Chapel in Hawling and follows the Windrush Way towards Guiting Power, passing the site of medieval Hawling. We then join the Wardens’ Way up through Guiting Wood and the Farmcote Estate before rejoining the Windrush Way at Deadmanbury Gate for our return to Hawling, with lovely views of typical Cotswold countryside.

Please bring refreshments for mid-morning and picnic lunch stops.

Suitable clothing and footwear essential.
