Naked woodland: Identifying trees in winter

A leisurely walk looking at trees in wintertime; how can we identify these when there are no leaves to provide clues? What are the signs and signals we need to observe? An identification sheet will be given to walkers to take away. Families will be very welcome.

Route description

The walk will be led by Richard and Pauline Wilson who have a encyclopedic knowledge of trees and plants and can share this in an entertaining and fascinating way. It is hoped some people from Sodbury Woodland and Nature (S.W.a.N.) will also join the walk.
