This energetic scenic six-mile walk runs through woodland and open areas with extensive views. Some paths are rough and stony. 200m of ascent and descent.   Suitable for robust off road mobility scooter such as Tramper.

Route description

After a long descent through the Ebworth estate woodland (the Cotswold Commons and Beechwoods National Nature Reserve) we climb Sheepscombe Common with fine views over Sheepscombe and Painswick, and then continue into woodland and farmland with views over Cranham to the Severn and Wales. On the return we walk with the start of the Painswick Stream with a number of pools.
