LANE WALKING FOR THE WINTER – Elkstone – On Safari (?)
We are offering another chance to escape the worst of the mud. Come on a walk along some beautiful country lanes to another of our lovely Cotswold villages.
We will stop for a short break, so bring a drink and a snack if you wish. Although this is Lanes Only, they are farm lanes and there is some mud about, but nothing too serious. I would just recommend you wear your boots. There are hills, so bring your sticks/poles if you need them. Photo: CNL
This walk is organised by Cotswold Voluntary Wardens, the voluntary arm of the Cotswolds Conservation Board. These walks offer an interesting and often entertaining way of exploring our wonderful Cotswold countryside and landscape. All walks by the Voluntary Wardens are FREE OF CHARGE however donations are welcome and help us to take care of the countryside.
PLEASE: always remember to wear appropriate footwear because some walks may be steep and muddy in places. Dogs are not allowed on walks, except guide dogs and hearing dogs. It is advisable to check the website or call the Cotswolds Conservation Board (07841 663607) beforehand for details of any changes, particularly during bad weather.
