The Green Dragon and a load of Coberleys.
A pleasant walk from the Green Dragon with splendid views – once you’re up the hill!
A very nice walk visiting Coberley and Upper Coberley. Skirting Bubb’s Hill and Tomtit’s Bottom. We’ll also see the Moonstone Project, from a distance – it’s well worth visiting their website to learn about this remarkable home which is completely ‘off grid’. Excellent food afterwards in the Green Dragon (bearing in mind the time of the year pre booking is essential) and/or a visit to the excellent farm shop there. Walk leaders will be celebrating Christmas, with lunch in the Green Dragon - Lunch booking is under the name “ Taylor Wardens Walk” for 13:15. £10 deposit taken by Green Dragon for Christmas Menu and places are going fast! Food choice needs to be given at the time of any individual booking.
This walk is organised by Cotswold Voluntary Wardens, the voluntary arm of the Cotswolds Conservation Board. These walks offer an interesting and often entertaining way of exploring our wonderful Cotswold countryside and landscape. All walks by the Voluntary Wardens are FREE OF CHARGE however donations are welcome and help us to take care of the countryside.
