SHORTER AND STEADIER - Miserden

The walk starts in the centre of the estate village of Miserden and is largely on footpaths and along quiet lanes.  There are lovely views towards the hamlet of Througham and southwards down the valley of the Holy Brook before passing through woodland (the wild garlic should be in flower) and the hamlet of Sudgrove on the way back to Miserden.

Route description

This is one of our series of shorter, steadier walks to introduce new walkers to the splendour of our glorious Cotswold landscape and the sheer joy of walking in the countryside.

Shorter walks will be at a gentler pace for those who fear that most Wardens’ Guided Walks may be a bit challenging.  They will also be ideal for families (though not pushchairs, sorry) and possibly anyone wanting to regain fitness after a health setback.

Children must be kept under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.
